This was a Geared 4 Fun event where we ran Pontiac Sluice (Trail 2N61Y) a.k.a. Heartbreak Ridge and Tip Top, which are a couple of runs on the south side of Big Bear Lake. 2N61Y is rated difficult from a point near the Pontiac up to and including the loop at the peak. Pontiac Sluice is named for a broken down junker Pontiac on the side of the trail, part way in, presumably it got stuck there and was unable to get out.
